Attention, fans: Be sure to coffee up before the Devils host Minnesota tonight in a clash of perhaps the two most un-entertaining, yet defensively efficient teams in the NHL. It’s results over style for the two who both got to their conference finals last spring because of their skin-tight systems.

The Devils are coming off two straight wins after snapping a three game-losing streak over the weekend. Sunday afternoon they beat the Kings on goals from Jamie Langenbrunner, Sergei Brylin and rookie Paul Martin after trailing 2-0.

Langenbrunner’s goal was his eighth of the year and first since returning Jan. 29 from a knee injury that kept him out 28 games.

“He’s definitely doing a lot more now,” Devils coach Pat Burns said. “He’s more alert and doing more skating. Right now, you can see that his jump is back. We can use him a little more now, too.”
