Wisconsin’s adventures with NCAA Tournament stenographers took an embarrassing turn at the Sweet 16.

Star forward Nigel Hayes, who broke out some big words last week to trip up the professional speed typers, was trying to remark on an attractive girl during Wednesday’s media session. He whispered “God, she’s beautiful” to teammate Frank Kaminsky. But whispering doesn’t work so well when you’re inches from a microphone, and the entire room heard Hayes’ compliment.

It appeared he was referring to this ASAP Sports stenographer on the right side of this video.

The top-seeded Badgers face North Carolina on Thursday night in Los Angeles in the West Regional semifinals.
