According to multiple reports, free agent infielder Mark DeRosa is on the verge of joining the Giants.

The deal is reportedly in the two-year, $12 million range and is pending a physical. The Mets and Yankees, along with multiple other teams, had shown interest, but DeRosa wanted to hold out for a three-year deal that apparently never came.
