The Dish Network, a home satellite provider that competes with DirecTV, which carries YES, is close to signing a deal to carry the Yankees’ new network.

According to sources, Dish could reach an agreement with YES as early as tomorrow.

However, Dish also is close to merging with DirecTV, a deal that almost certainly will cause home satellite subscription rates to rise.
