For the first time in two months, the Devils are not leading the Atlantic Division in points.

They sit where they deserve.

Unless they’re playing the Rangers, or unless they have some revenge to pay back, this team too often acts disinterested, going through the motions, such as waving up at the Flyers today. Their doldrums have now gone 10 games, in which they are .500, at 4-4-2. That’s not enough to stay on top.
