I firmly believe the Yankees will win another baseball game sometime, someway, somewhere, somehow. I also believe both CC Sabathia and Chien-Ming Wang will be fine, and that Mark Teixeira will not devolve into an A-Rod-like punch line by only getting base hits while the Yankees are leading or trailing by 10 runs. But it would be awfully nice of A.J. Burnett to go seven strong today and allow everyone to start breathing normally again.

I love the Masters, and back when Augusta National used to be a regular stop on my personal travel itinerary there was no place I looked more forward to visiting. But it is funny that a place that used to be so secretive that the rest of us unwashed never even got to see the front nine on television has suddenly become a weird 24/7 reality show, with live on-line cameras and screen-in-screen and even a telecast of the par-three event. And I must admit: I miss the mystery a little bit.
