Try to imagine a more hostile environment than this: You’re a Cowboys fan who’s a corrections officer in Philadelphia, where all the inmates are Eagles fans. That’s Ed Salerno’s world.

“It’s no big deal,” Salerno, 44, said. “We have them in a more controlled environment [than most fanatical Philly fans].”

Salerno, who hails from Old Forge, Pa., grew to love Dallas as a child. Now he coaches his son Tyler’s football team.

His picks are: Cowboys, Redskins, Chiefs, Eagles, Steelers, Bengals, Vikings, Panthers, Rams, Texans, Raiders, Broncos, Colts and Bears.

Last week’s fan, James Grundvig, went 4-10 for a winning percentage of .286.

The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.

Andrew Proch and Michael Fabrizio are tied for the lead with a .594 winning percentage (9-6-1).
