The Clemson Tigers will be better in 2018 than they were in 2017. With more certainty at the quarterback position and a phenomenal defensive front four, the Tigers will not have much trouble continuing their run as one of the nation’s elite programs.
The return of future NFL talents in Clelin Ferrell, Dexter Lawrence, Christian Wilkins and Austin Bryant to the defensive line will pay dividends, as the unit totaled 46 sacks and was unyielding at the point of attack. The return of 15 starters overall and not having to worry about finding an identity post-Deshaun Watson will only help, and look for running backs Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster to have more of an impact on the ground.
The play: Clemson Over 11 wins (-110).
