Two struggling teams come limping into Thursday night when the Arizona Cardinals face the New Orleans Saints. The Cardinals have lost three of four, while the Saints have dropped four of five.
Arizona is a slight home favorite, but neither team instills much confidence in me right now. Instead of taking a side or total, I’m looking at a player prop with Kyler Murray.
Murray’s passing props are Over/Under 245.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns. I think both Overs are good plays. New Orleans has really struggled to stop the pass in its last three games. Over that span, Kirk Cousins (273), Geno Smith (268) and Joe Burrow (300) have all gone over this number. The three have also combined for seven touchdown passes, with Smith and Burrow tossing three each.
Murray hasn’t been great this season, but there is reason for optimism with the return of DeAndre Hopkins and the acquisition of Robbie Anderson. It’s hard to know how many snaps Anderson will play while he gets acclimated to the offense, but Hopkins is expected to see his usual high usage after missing the first six games due to suspension.

Hopkins returning is huge for the Cardinals’ offense, as he’s still one of the top receivers in the NFL. Add that to the Saints’ recent struggles against the pass and it sets up for a big game from Murray.
Saints vs. Cardinals player prop picks
