Dave Tuley, senior reporter at VSiN.com, is in his second season with the Post’s Bettor’s Guide. His handicapping pieces appear in VSiN’s online magazine, Point Spread Weekly.

Giants (+7) over COWBOYS: This line is seven in many spots, but with Ezekiel Elliott ending his holdout, it’s back up to 7¹/₂ at DraftKings in New Jersey. Either way, it’s too much for this Cowboys team to be laying in this divisional rivalry, especially because there’s still a lot of dysfunction in the Dallas locker room. Plus, no one know how much Elliott is going to play. Besides, I believe QB Eli Manning has one last run in him (and being pushed by rookie Daniel Jones is added incentive).

Dolphins (+6¹/₂) over RAVENS: The whole world seems to be on the Ravens as this line opened Baltimore -3¹/₂ back in the spring and it now is nearly a full touchdown. Even though the Dolphins are expected to be among the worst teams in the league, I’m willing to fade the move with the Ravens on the road (and in what could be stifling heat of around 90 degrees and high humidity). Some pretty mediocre Miami teams have gone 6-2 straight-up in September home games over the past seven years, including upsetting the Patriots in the 2014 opener. And while Ryan Fitzpatrick might not be the long-term answer, he’s capable of pulling an upset like he did last season in leading the Buccaneers to a 48-40 victory in New Orleans — or at least keeping the Dolphins inside the number.

2018 record: 18-21-2.
