Kansas State (+16) over WEST VIRGINIA: The Mountaineers have not played since Sept. 8 and time off sometimes leads to rust. But the key to this play is K-State coach Bill Snyder, who is 5-1 against the spread vs. West Virginia and 7-1 ATS as a road underdog the past two years.
Stanford (-2) over OREGON: Bryce Love sat out vs. UC Davis last week, officially to rest minor ailments, though sources say he suffered a concussion vs. USC. Love will be ready to run. Cardinal quarterback K.J. Costello and wideout JJ Arcega-Whiteside add a serious aerial threat. This is a big step up in competition for the Ducks, who have faced Bowling Green, Portland State and San Jose State — three of the worst teams on the planet.
Last week: 1-1
Season: 4-2.
