Oddsmakers at ESPN BET tell The Post that the Mets leaped to +700 odds to win the World Series, the second-highest odds in all of baseball, after landing the big fish of free agency in Juan Soto.

The Mets were previously 14/1 to win the World Series, behind the favored Dodgers as well as the Braves, Yankees, Orioles, Astros and Phillies.

Now that Soto has departed from the Yankees, the Bronx Bombers moved from +750 to +850 to win the World Series.

The Mets’ odds to win the NL pennant also jumpred from +700 to win to +400 odds.

With the Winter Meetings just heating up, teams will be lining up to bring in top talent to improve their rosters.

After missing out on Soto, the Yankees and Red Sox could pivot to Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez.

Among the top batters available for the Yankees are Cubs outfielder Cody Bellinger and free agent Christian Walker.

The Mets are still expected to be in the mix for first baseman Pete Alonso, who is available after a down year in his contract season.

The Post’s Mike Puma reported after Soto signed a record-breaking contract that the Mets would still be open-minded about signing Alonso — although the Yankees may have something to say about that after they have lost a top player to the Mets.
