As the Pirates and Phillies prepare for the second of a four-game set, Charlie DiSturco of The Action Network is here to share his best bet (video above).
The Phillies, who are looking to extend a four-game winning streak, will send Bailey Falter to the mound. As for hosts Pittsburgh, it will deploy left-hander Jose Quintana tonight.
For DiSturco, he believes that pitching matchup gives an edge to the Pirates.

“[Quintana] has a 3.70 ERA and enters Friday night’s matchup off a seven-inning shutout against the Miami Marlins,” DiSturco says.
Given Quintana’s expected indicators sit around the high three’s and low four’s, DiSturco expects there’s little room for negative regression with the left-hander.

He brings a 5.18 ERA into Friday’s contest against a 5.78 xERA and an alarmingly high .525 xSLG percentage, which ranks in the bottom one percent of all starting pitchers.
Further, Falter struggles to keep the ball on the ground — he only brings a ground-ball rate of 30 percent — and owns a 17.6 percent home run to fly-ball ratio.
For all those reasons, DiSturco is getting involved with the Pirates. However, rather than target the full game, he’s recommending bettors get involved with the Pirates F5 Moneyline (+105 FanDuel).
