The NASCAR Monster Energy Series brings its “Sunday show” to the track that many would say principally elevated Darrell Waltrip to legendary status.

Bristol Motor Speedway, also known as “Thunder Valley,” provides a compelling assault on the senses with equal parts of sound, speed and spirit. It is known for being one of the leaders in the manufacturing of track tensions, as there has been an average of just over 10 caution flags in the past six races there.

Drivers who can keep their cool while staying on the lead lap will likely find themselves in a contending position late in the race.

Though Larson has performed well at Bristol, he has the lowest return on investment (ROI -16 units) of any matchup driver this season. Conversely, Harvick has accumulated a total of 226 points over the past six races at Bristol, the best of any driver in NASCAR’s top division.

The play: Our driver matchup selection is underdog Kevin Harvick (+130) over Kyle Larson (-150)
