The second round of NBA play-in games wraps up Friday and Munaf Manji of the Action Network is here to share his two favorite player prop bets.

For his first prop bet, Manji is looking to the Eastern Conference contest between the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers. In that game, he’s backing Hawks point guard Trae Young over 40.5 points + assists.

The thesis? Young tends to shine in high-stakes contests and has had plenty of success against the Cavs this season.

“In four matchups this season against the Cavaliers, Trae Young is averaging 32.5 points and nine assists per contest,” Manji explains.

Plus, in 16 career playoff games, Young has averaged north of 29 points per contest and almost 10 assists per game. Against a declining Cavs defense that surrendered 34 points and 12 assists to Nets point guard Kyrie Irving in its last game, expect another strong performance from Trae Young.

As for his second player prop bet, Manji is targeting a rebounding prop in the Western Conference matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers. Specifically, he’s backing Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas over 12.5 rebounds.

For Manji, his belief in Valanciunas stems from the Clippers’ recent struggles in effectively cleaning up the glass.

“Over the final five games of the regular season, the Clippers ranked No. 22 in opponent rebounding,” Manji says. “Further, over the course of the season, the Clippers allowed 16.3 rebounds per game to opposing centers.”

Combine that with the fact Valanciunas grabbed at least 13 rebounds in three of four meetings with the Clippers this season and Manji believes he’s worth a bet on Friday.
