The New York Knicks began the second half of the NBA season by snapping a four-game losing streak, beating the 76ers in Philadelphia, 110-96, on Thursday.

The Knicks are back at the Garden on Saturday night for an Atlantic Division battle with the Boston Celtics, who own the best record in the league at 44-12.

The Celtics picked up their seventh consecutive victory on Thursday by crushing the Bulls in Chicago, 129-112, as 8.5-point favorites.

Guard Derrick White led the Celtics with 28 points as Boston outscored Chicago, 70-50, in the second half.

The Knicks jumped out to a 23-point halftime lead in its rout of Philadelphia, as recently acquired Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 22 points.

The former Villanova trio of Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart combined for 55 points in their return to Philadelphia to move to 34-22.

Boston has defeated New York three times this season, including a 108-104 victory in the season opener at the Garden.

Since winning seven straight home games from mid-January through early February, the Knicks are just 1-3 in their past four home games.

The Celtics are riding a seven-game road winning streak while posting a 4-2-1 mark against the spread.

Betting on the NBA?

Boston won each of the first three meetings even though Julius Randle was in the Knicks’ lineup in all three games.

With Randle (as well as OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson) sidelined, it’s hard to think the Knicks will fare better against this Celtics machine.

Let’s lay the points with the Celtics on the road on Saturday.

The play: Celtics -6.5.
