Kickoff props
National anthem under two minutes and seven seconds +145: The longest national anthem ever was by Alicia Keys (2:36) at Super Bowl XLVII. Chris Stapleton’s slow pace is well-known in Tennessee Whiskey. But the average time to complete the anthem is just 1:47. Stapleton is already being given an extra 20 seconds. Grab plus-money whenever you can.
Opening kickoff to be a touchback: No +130 (FanDuel): Games played on grass see a touchback rate of just 55 percent, a seven percent edge on these implied odds. Both teams had a 65 percent touchback rate during the season. Grab no at +130.
Novelty props
Coin Toss: Heads -101 | Tails -101 (Caesars)
If you want to bet this one, Caesars has the lowest vig.

Gatorade color: Blue +400 (BetMGM)
Sometimes these novelty props are as simple as, “What’s the most popular Gatorade flavor?” Well, Cool Blue is the most popular, according to internal sales data, followed by Fruit Punch (red) Lemon-Lime (yellow), and Glacier Freeze (blue). Grab two shots at blue as this very popular flavor has won two straight years.
Officiating props
Penalties accepted
Over 10.5 +105 | Under 10.5 -135 (PointsBet): Carl Cheffers will be the head referee for Sunday’s big game, not with his normal crew, but he’ll still lead. Cheffers-led crews called the most penalties in the NFL the last two years. The Eagles averaged 5.2 penalties per game, while the Chiefs averaged 4.9. The projection of 10.5 is right, but over at plus-money is the bet.
Accepted penalties committed by Chiefs
Over 4.5 -125 | Under 4.5 -105 (PointsBet): Cheffers has a checkered history with the Chiefs. In Super Bowl LV, the Chiefs had 11 penalties for 120 yards called against them compared to just four for 39 yards for the Buccaneers. We’ll go over at -125, especially since the under is juiced to -105, too.
Dallas Goedert Getty ImagesFirst touchdown scorer
Dallas Goedert 12/1 (BetMGM): We love a good tight end, don’t we? The Chiefs gave up eight touchdowns to opposing tight ends during the regular season, the seventh-most. They don’t cover the position well.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling 20/1 (BetMGM): Was he the secret weapon all along? Valdes-Scantling exploded against the Bengals in the conference championship and is an excellent long shot play for Sunday.
Rushing props
Kenneth Gainwell most rushing yards +1600 (WynnBet): Miles Sanders is fine and all, but the running back of the future in Philadelphia is Kenneth Gainwell. Gainwell has actually seen more redzone touches in the playoffs than Sanders and boasts a much better yards per carry (6.2 vs. 4.7). Take a stab at glory with this prop.
Kenneth Gainwell over 19.5 rushing yards -110 (BetRivers): See above.
Receiving totals
Isiah Pacheco over 15.5 receiving yards -110 (PointsBet): Over in six of his last nine games, the Chiefs should look his way frequently. The game plan will be to keep Mahomes off of the ground, so quick dump-offs should be the norm.
Quez Watkins under 1.5 receptions-150 (BetMGM): The third receiver on the Eagles is really closer to the fifth option for Philadelphia. Watkins doesn’t really play in games that aren’t a blowout.
Defense
Over 5.5 total sacks +104 (FanDuel): The Eagles have the best pass rush in the NFL, and Patrick Mahomes’ ankle could make avoiding danger difficult. Grab the plus-money again and watch Haason Reddick and Brandon Graham eat all night.
Super Bowl MVP
Patrick Mahomes +130 (BetMGM): Should the Chiefs win, it would be nearly impossible to deny Mahomes the award. Grab on Mahomes MVP +130 instead of even money on the Chiefs’ moneyline.
Kenneth Gainwell Getty ImagesKenneth Gainwell 125/1 (BetMGM): These next two are massive long shots with a chance at cashing. Let’s start with Gainwell, who may be the best Eagles running back on the roster. The road map to a win here is continued struggles from Jalen Hurts, who hasn’t truly had his shoulder injury tested. We would need a low-scoring game where Gainwell scores two touchdowns, and the City of Brotherly Love comes away victorious. Remember, Damien Williams (133 total yards and two TDs) was the live betting favorite for much of the fourth quarter when the Chiefs beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl three years ago.
CJ Gardner-Johnson 175/1 (PointsBet): Ball-hawking safety that led the NFL in interceptions this past season. Gardner-Johnson needs a Tracy Porter-esque pick-six for a chance at glory.
