“Thursday Night Football” touchdown scorer prop picks have become a weekly tradition here for the bad games. But we have a treat tonight as the Buffalo Bills travel east to face the New England Patriots.

Thankfully, this one profiles as one of the better Thursday night games of the year, with the No. 1 and 10-rated teams in DVOA squaring off.

At 43.5, this is the lowest projected total that a game involving the Bills has had this season. This is at least a little surprising, considering only one of the teams’ past five matchups has gone under this total – including a 47-17 shellacking given by Buffalo in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last January.

Pretty soon, we won’t have “Thursday Night Football” to bet on. Let’s appreciate games like this while they last.

Below, we break down our favorite anytime touchdown scorer props for “Thursday Night Football” between AFC East rival Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots.

Bills vs. Patriots predictions and touchdown scorer prop picks

Josh Allen anytime TD scorer +200 (FanDuel)

Some solid odds here for Josh Allen to get into the endzone this evening. The Patriots have allowed the sixth most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks and the fourth-highest yards per carry. Now, almost all of that was to the likes of Justin Fields and Lamar Jackson, but it’s still worth looking at, especially since Allen has a rushing touchdown in two of his last four games against Bill Belichick and Co. His shoulder is not a concern, as he had 10 carries and a touchdown last weekend against the Rams.

As we have talked about in the past, the Cardinals are absolute funnels against tight ends. Quietly second, however, is the New England Patriots. They have allowed eight touchdowns to opposing tight ends, just behind the Cardinals (nine). And while Diggs is the clearly preferred redzone option (seven redzone targets), Knox isn’t too bad either. His five targets inside the 20 are third on the team over the last four weeks. He is +1200 to score the first touchdown this evening, if you’re looking for more risk and reward.

Damian Harris is out, leaving the Patriots with one man to feed in their backfield. When Harris was out against the Lions (admittedly a running back haven), Stevenson touched them for 161 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. When Harris was out against a more solid running defense like the Colts, Stevenson got 15 carries and seven targets while catching a touchdown pass. An excellent spot for Stevenson Thursday, as he has grown into the clear option around the goal line and is becoming a dual threat as well.
