After a rout in the quarterfinals, Ohio State has another tough matchup next week against Texas.
Oddsmakers at Fanatics Sportsbook have the Buckeyes as six-point favorites for the College Football Playoff semifinals clash in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 10.
Ohio State is -225 on the moneyline, meaning the Buckeyes have a 69.23 percent chance to advance to the championship game, where they would face Penn State or the winner of Georgia vs. Notre Dame.
Oddsmakers expect a shootout next Friday with the total coming at 54 points, although both defenses are among the top in the nation.
Ohio State is allowing the fewest yards per play in the nation, at 3.9 yards per play this season, while Texas gives up just 4.1.
