Since losing Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers have nearly been as much of an enigma as the Bills (OK, not that insane), losing but covering in a 29-27 loss to the Chargers and then losing 28-18 as three-point favorites over the Cardinals.
I know a lot of people aren’t feeling too good about backing them off that loss; however, I’ll be on them (hoping to get double digits by kickoff) as this is more of a bet against a Green Bay team that shouldn’t be this much of a favorite over anyone. Sure, the Packers beat the aforementioned Bills, 22-0, as nine-point favorites two weeks ago, but I’m expecting a bounce-back from the 49ers to play more like the hungry, 10-point underdogs that took the Chargers to the brink while the Packers do just enough to get out with a win.
The play: 49ers +9
