It is not often the Pentagon hosts a college basketball game, but the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., is where Nebraska and Oklahoma State will play on Sunday — in what used to be a Big 12 rivalry game — in front of a crowd of about 3,250.

Though Oklahoma State is able to use its reserves a bit more than Nebraska, the Cornhuskers’ starting five has a clear advantage in this game. Nebraska gets a lot of accolades for being a good defensive team, but is also ranks 15th among Division I teams in offensive efficiency. Oklahoma State rates just 209th in that category while being 94th in defensive efficiency to Nebraska’s No. 12 rating.

Nebraska also has a starting five in which every player in the fold is a capable and willing shooter from the outside. With Oklahoma State making 41.6 percent of its 3s as a team, which ranks 10th among D-I teams, it will be important for Nebraska to make a few outside shots early to make the Cowboys shoot with more frequency from beyond the arc and ensure that those shots are contested.

Nebraska enters this game 8-2 overall and has covered in every win. This contest should be no exception, with Oklahoma State coming in a three-game losing streak — with two of those losses coming as the betting favorite.

The play: Nebraska, -7.
