Even after the Nets made an NBA-record five first-round picks in this past June’s draft, they still have a ton of draft assets going forward.

Brooklyn GM Sean Marks still has a ton of ammunition. The question is: Can he hit the mark with it?

With mixed reviews on that aforementioned quintet of rookies, there is considerable scrutiny on the Nets’ draft. Though Marks’ history is good, this year’s initial grades are bad. What ends up winning out here?

Since Marks arrived late in the 2015-16 season, he has made a total of 15 draft picks. Ten of those have outperformed their draft slot, measured by win shares on Basketball-Reference.com. However imperfect that may be, the hit rate is impressive.
