Cerberus Capital Management, Chatham Lodging Trust and Innkeepers USA Trust settled a dispute over whether the buyout firm could end a deal to buy 64 of Innkeepers’ hotels because of the US economic decline. Cerberus, a New York-based private equity firm, will pay $1.02 billion for the hotels.
