Alphabet’s top lawyer — who last week was accused by a former underling of ignoring the tech giant’s rules about romantic relationships and of being a deadbeat dad — quietly married another ex-subordinate over the weekend, according to a report.

David Drummond, the 56-year-old chief legal officer of Google’s parent company, married a woman who works in Google’s legal department, Axios reported.

The 37-year-old woman, whom CNBC identified as Corinne Dixon, doesn’t report to Drummond, but to Kent Walker, Google’s chief legal officer, according to that report.

She did, however, work in Drummond’s department when she joined the company in 2006, according to her LinkedIn profile.

In a statement last week, Drummond denied having “started a relationship with anyone else who was working at Google or Alphabet.”

That looks like clever legalese in hindsight, as Drummond began dating Dixon when she worked at Pinterest between 2015 and 2018, after her initial, nine-year stint at Google, according to Axios.

The marriage came just days after Drummond was the subject of an explosive blog post that portrayed him as a serial womanizer who openly flouted the company’s rules against dating subordinates.

Last week on the blogging site Medium, ex-Googler Jennifer Blakely claimed she began an affair with Drummond in 2004 when she was his employee and he was married. The pair had a child in 2007, but the next year Drummond abruptly left her at a party.

When Blakely objected to Drummond’s neglect of their child, she claimed Drummond pointed to the lecherous ways of then-top Googler Eric Schmidt to justify his philandering.

“David explained to me how Eric’s ‘personal life’ was, in essence, his privilege,” Blakely wrote. “Since I was no longer ‘personal life’ it was time for me to shut up, fall in line and stop bothering him with the nuisances or demands of raising a child.”

Dixon, according to her LinkedIn profile, had the same position at Google as Blakely, who also worked as a “senior contracts manager.”

Drummond in his statement last week described himself as “far from perfect.”

“It’s not a secret that Jennifer and I had a difficult break-up 10 years ago,” he said in the statement posted on Twitter by Buzzfeed. “I am far from perfect and I regret my part in that.”

Representatives for Google did not immediately responded to a request for comment.

Google recently made headlines for eye-popping severance packages it has given to executives accused of sexual misconduct — including a $90 million golden parachute for Android creator Andy Rubin.

The issue came to a head last November, when more than 20,000 Google employees around the world staged a walkout in protest of the company’s policy.

Google co-founder Sergey Brin also got into trouble when he got romantically involved with the marketing manager for Google Glass — a pet project of his.

Meanwhile, Schmidt — who stepped down from his role as executive chairman of Alphabet in June — is a notorious philanderer, despite being married for over 30 years to Wendy Schmidt.

In 2013, Page Six reported that Schmidt spent $15 million on a private, no-doorman Manhattan penthouse said to be a love nest to accommodate his multiple affairs.
