AMD shares chip off 13%
Advanced Micro Devices fell the most in nine months after forecasting a drop in third-quarter gross margin.
The shares tumbled 13 percent, to $4.03, yesterday.
The narrower margin indicates AMD’s custom-chip business isn’t as lucrative as expected, said Chris Caso, an analyst at Susquehanna Financial Group.
