The Associated Press unveiled rate cuts to help member newspapers reeling from declining advertising revenue.
The wire service also said it would sue Web sites that use its members’ articles without permission.
The changes, announced yesterday at the AP’s annual meeting, include $35 million in rate-assessment reductions for 2010 on top of $30 million for 2009.
