CUPERTINO, Calif. — Apple said Wednesday that it will launch a white version of the iPhone 4 on Thursday.
A white version of the device was originally announced last June, but technical issues delayed its launch.
The company said 28 countries, including the US and the UK, will be part of the initial rollout, with more to follow. Apple added that it will launch the iPad 2 in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and eight other countries Thursday.
Japan was originally targeted for launch in late March, but the company delayed the move after the devastating earthquake and tsunami earlier in the month.
