Goldman Sachs pocketed $38.3 million and Deutsche Bank $9.3 million for underwriting Apple’s $17 billion bond offering, its first since the mid-1990s.
In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the company said it paid the seven underwriters $53.3 million in fees.
Banks playing minor roles were Citigroup, JPMorgan and Merrill Lynch, which each made $1.3 million, and Barclays and Standard Chartered, which each took $798,750.
