AT&T plans NYC upgrade
AT&T is not only fighting Verizon by agreeing to buy T-Mobile, but it also upgraded New York City service in the last few weeks.
The much-maligned wireless carrier has added capacity in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn and Queens, Crain’s New York Business reported, citing an AT&T spokesperson.
The phone giant will also try to improve its current image of persistent dropped calls along the West Side Highway with a large new marketing campaign, the paper said.
