Bloomberg LP agreed to lease 16 floors at 120 Park Ave., the former headquarters of Altria Group, as the company expands beyond its main office to accommodate a growing work force.

The financial-data and news provider signed an agreement to take more than 400,000 square feet in the building, located at East 42nd Street across from Grand Central Terminal, the company said in a statement.

Cigarette maker Altria reduced its presence in the tower after selling it in 2008 and moving its base to Richmond, Va.
