BofA may cut 30,000
Bank of America executives are eyeing plans to slash as many as 30,000 jobs, the Charlotte Observer reported late Friday.
BofA, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, could shed 25,000 to 30,000 jobs over several years, sources said.
BofA employs about 288,000 workers, with about 15,000 in Charlotte.
Slashing 30,000 jobs would be about a 10 percent staff reduction.
