Embattled bookseller Borders Group is expected to ask publishers today to postpone the due dates on bills as it works out a refinancing plan, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the situation. Such a move would allow Borders to conserve cash. The bookseller will offer its suppliers IOUs, the Journal said.
