Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana dismissed a suit that accused Mattel’s rival MGA Entertainment of fraudulently transferring funds to avoid paying anticipated damages in the fight over who owns the popular Bratz doll.

Jurors are currently deliberating in the federal case, which wrapped up April 8 after a three-month trial.
