The brawl between American Apparel and its founder and former CEO Dov Charney has taken a bizarre twist.

Again.

Management recently sent a directive to its store managers to “immediately remove photos of Dov, Dov’s family members and ‘Operated by Dov Charney’” signage from the shops, according to a memo obtained by The Post.

Images of Charney’s father, Morris, appear in several stores, including the first one in Los Angeles’ Echo Park, which had a banner-size photo of Morris on the exterior of the building. The banner has since been painted over.

The memo refers to the directive as a “project” and gives managers eight days to complete the task.

A spokeswoman for the company declined to comment.
