Galleon Group hedge fund founder Raj Raja ratnam won a post ponement of a federal judge’s order that he turn over wiretaps that he got from prosecut ors in his insider-trad ing case.
DiPascali freed
Frank DiPascali Jr., who has been jailed since pleading guilty to helping Bernard Madoff carry out the largest US Ponzi scheme, will be re leased on $10 million bail, a federal judge ruled. DiPascali is aiding a US probe into Madoff’s fraud.
Google buy
Google agreed to buy Aardvark, a Web site that lets users pose questions and receive answers online. A Goo gle spokesman declined to say how much Goo gle paid or comment further.
Lehman sues
Lehman Brothers Holdings sued Fon tainebleau Resorts LLC seeking return of $315 million loaned to the casino company by Lehman and other lend ers, according to a court filing in Manhat tan. Fontainebleau’s Las Vegas affiliates filed for bankruptcy last year. Fontainebleau Resorts is not in bankruptcy, Lehman said.
