Federal prosecutors working their way through a massive insider- trading probe could begin making arrests as early as next week, and Wall Street is bracing for an other round of indict ments, CNBC’s Web site reported.
Google eyed
Connecticut issued a “civil investigative de mand” to Google for ac cess to data the company collected from public Wi- Fi networks in the state. Google must provide ac cess by next Friday or face being taken to court.
GE boost
General Electric will raise its quarterly divi dend by about 17 percent to 14 cents a share, after July’s 20 percent boost.

The US government spent $150.4 billion more than it collected in No vember, its 26th straight monthly budget deficit, the Treasury Department said.

Tiffany & Co. short sellers slashed their bear ish wagers on the luxury jewelry retailer to 8.3 percent of shares out standing from a 52-week high of 15.5 percent on Sept. 20, as the shares have tripled since March 2009 to an all-time high of $63.68, according to Data Explorers.
