CEO clawback
Beazer Homes USA CEO Ian McCarthy agreed to return $6.5 mil lion in a clawback of compensation he re ceived while the firm cooked its books during the housing crisis, the SEC said.
Blackout rules
The FCC proposed changing rules for cable disputes such as the one that blocked Fox’s World Series baseball games last year from New York subscribers of Cablevision Systems.
Walmart hike
Walmart raised its annual dividend 21 per cent, to $1.46 a share, from $1.21.
iPad rebate
Apple is making $100 reimbursements avail able to customers who bought the original iPad in the two weeks before the iPad 2 was intro duced on Wednesday. Apple shares closed up 2.11 percent to $359.56 yesterday.
