FTC probe

The FTC is consider ing a broad antitrust probe of Google’s domi nance of Internet search, sources said. The FTC is waiting to see if the Jus tice Department will challenge Google’s pro posed acquisition of ITA Software.

Citi check

In an internal memo yesterday, Citibank said it will process checks starting with the small est amounts first as of July 25. Most banks pro cess larger checks first, a practice that increases the potential for over draft charges.
