It may be capitalist now, but you can call it “Unread China” when it comes to Bloomberg’s stories.

Access to Bloomberg’s news service in China through its website and mobile applications was interrupted last week after it published an article detailing fortunes amassed by relatives of China’s leader-in-waiting, Xi Jinping.

Bloomberg spokeswoman Belina Tan said that there were no problems reported with the company’s desktop terminals, which are used by much of the financial world to monitor real-time market data and conduct trading.

Officials with the State Council Information Office, an Internet content regulator, couldn’t be reached for comment.

Users in China reported being unable to access Bloomberg’s website on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
