Conde Nast has raided Time Inc. to fill the long vacant publisher position at Glamour, tapping Jason Wagenheim, who resigned as publisher of Entertainment Weekly this morning.

Wagenheim will report to Executive Vice President Bill Wackerman, one of the few Conde Nast executives who still has operating responsibility for a cluster of titles, including the highly profitable Glamour, where he had been filling in as publisher.

It’s also a home coming for Wagenheim, who had been an associate publisher of Vanity Fair before accepting the EW job last year. No replacement has been announced at EW, which was flat in ad pages this year, with 689 through its fall movie preview issue on Aug . 19, according to Media Industry Newsletter.
