New York real estate maven Barbara Corcoran taketh with one comment, but giveth back with a tweet.

When appearing on “Shark Tank,” A Spoonful of Comfort partner Scott Gustafson said he and co-owner Marti Wymer were especially rattled by Corcoran’s negative opening comment.

“She took us so off guard,” he said. “We expected her to be one of our advocates.”

But Wymer found another reason for hope. She referred to a tweet posted by Corcoran during the show:

“I find tragedy fuels innovation. It gives people a reason to work harder than ever before!#shark tank #SpoonfulofComfort”

“Though it’s still a little hard for me to give Barbara any credit,” said Wymer, good humoredly, “I can’t help but say she was right on with this tweet.”
