Jon S. Corzine, the former New Jersey governor and US senator who led MF Global Holdings before the firm filed bankruptcy on Oct. 31, has been called to testify Dec. 13 at a Senate Agriculture Committee hearing on the collapse.

Corzine, who was CEO of the firm, has been asked to testify alongside MF Global customers who face as much as $1.2 billion in missing funds.

Corzine also has been called by the House Financial Services Oversight and Investigations subcommittee to a Dec. 15 hearing.
