Designer Cynthia Vincent may no longer own the rights to her own name, but that hasn’t stopped her from making a name for other designers.

Three Dots, a 20-year-old Los Angeles-based apparel company that hired her last year as its creative director, got a boost recently when Anna Wintour ordered a small number of its white classic crew neck T-shirts.

“It felt very confirming for me that she believed in the product and could have contacted any manufacturer, but chose us,” Vincent said.

“I’m sure she looked at many white T-shirts before she made her decision.”

Wintour silkscreened Three Dot T-shirts showing her alliance to Hillary Clinton on “The Seth Meyers Show” and at a recent fundraiser.

Vincent was hired to give Three Dots a face-lift and to reintroduce the merchandise to the market.

“The T-shirts never went away, but when I told people that I was working with them, I got a lot of ‘What ever happened to them?’ That’s a challenge I’m up for.”
