The U.S. Justice Department asked Hewlett-Packard to provide internal records in connection with a probe of allegations that the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company paid bribes in Russia, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The federal agency is looking into allegations that H-P executives paid roughly $10.9 million in bribes to secure a major contract, the newspaper said.
H-P said in a statement that the company “is and has been fully cooperating with all authorities on this matter.”
