It’s a photo finish at the weekend box office between animated adventure “How to Train Your Dragon” and superhero comedy “Kick-Ass.”
Paramount reported yesterday that “Dragon” took in $20 million, while “Kick-Ass” distributor Lionsgate reported its movie debuting at $19.75 million.
With just $250,000 separating them, either movie could end up at No. 1 when studios release final numbers today.
The No. 3 spot also was close, with “Date Night” at $17.3 million.
