DREIER VICTIMS NAMED
Some 20 once-mighty hedge funds on both sides of the Atlantic are the latest identified victims of lawyer Marc Dreier, indicted in a $400 million investment fraud.
Without disclosing any amounts involved in the losses, a Manhattan Bankruptcy Court judge yesterday named the shuttered Amaranth fund, as well as Concordia Advisors, Solow Realty & Development, Parella Weinberg Partners, Eton Park’s funds, Fortress Credit Corp., and 11 funds of GSO Capital Partners.
Meanwhile, a separate criminal court has agreed to free Dreier, 58, from jail on $10 million bond, to remain under house arrest at his East Side apartment.
