Elon Musk has always been a dreamer, but his dream about paying for your self-driving Tesla by using it as a part-time taxi just doesn’t cut it.
“This dramatically lowers the true cost of ownership to the point where almost anyone could own a Tesla,” Musk wrote in his “Master Plan, Part Deux” for the electric car.
Yet, reality is different, Citizens Parking CEO Jerry Skillett told the Post.
“There’s a huge disconnect between what seems a logical possibility and consumer behavior,” said Skillett, whose nationwide properties include NYC’s Icon Parking.
“It’s why ride-sharing hasn’t grown much. I know this is true because I’ve spent my entire career in the parking business.”
