Crafts marketplace Etsy may begin allowing sellers to market the works of others after the holidays, its CEO hinted yesterday.

Members of Brooklyn-based Etsy currently may only sell items that they made themselves. In a blog post, CEO Chad Dickerson cited a member who complained that she can’t sell her mother’s handmade jewelry on Etsy.

Responded Dickerson: “We know this needs to change.”
