Call her Farmer Gaga.

Pop star Lady Gaga is teaming up with Zynga to bring a new feature to the social-gaming company’s popular FarmVille.

Starting May 17, FarmVille users will be able to visit a neighboring farm in the game called GagaVille, where sheep ride motorcycles, crystals are plentiful and unicorns roam.

The celeb-gaming mashup is gimmick gold, to be sure, but also represents a new musical synergy for Zynga, which has been soaring in value with increased investor interest. The company is in the midst of a $490 million fundraising round at a valuation of more than $9 billion.

FarmVille gamers also will get a sneak peek at music from Gaga’s latest album, “Born This Way,” before it hits stores May 23.
