After Cablevision customers went for a fourth day without Fox channels, the head of the Federal Communications Commission jumped into the fray, calling on both sides to put a stop to “petty gamesmanship.”

“I am deeply troubled that Cablevision and Fox are spending more time attacking each other through ads and lobbyists than sitting down at the negotiating table,” FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said.
